Storage in those days

When I started working and little bit earlier also, floppies was something that impressed me. Data was stored on it. And not everyone used to carry a floppy. Imagine a PC (not XT), those days. I used to train students in DOS/LOTUS/WORDSTAR. The class used to wait in the labs in the front of the PC. When I gave them the floppies is only when the lab would start.

This is the 8 inch diskette, though never used on the PC. the PC's used the 5.25 inch diskette and later 3.5 inch diskettes shown below.
